We will be having an Opti parent meeting on Sunday, December 15th at 4:30pm after practice.

Topics to discuss-

• Spring season-calendar, events, registration, policies.
• How to become involved in Boomerang.
• Upcoming Opti work day for club boats at 9:45am on January 12th.

Opti Photographs Update

This is a message from the photographer-

 

Midshipmen

1.      I only took photos of Sunday’s midshipmen group. The class on Saturday has different sailors – So I should do photos for the Saturday group as well. I can be there at 9 am tomorrow morn to take the photos.

2.      I will deliver the photos of Sunday’s midshipmen this Sunday at 9 am – that way I won’t miss the parents. (hopefully)

 

Commodores

1.      Since the commodores are at Jensen Beach - I can deliver the commodore photos on Sunday Dec 15^th or on their weekday practice if you think that would be better.

Saturday night Dinner in Jensen Beach

Greetings LYC Families:

We are all looking forward to a fun weekend in Jensen Beach for the Junior Olympic Sailing Festival. As part of the weekend activities, we'd like to invite all sailors and their families to meet for dinner at Conchy Joe's Seafood Restaurant in Jensen Beach.  In order to make this happen, I need to hear from you as soon as possible. trailer assignments & towing

Hello all,

A big thanks to the Tate's for volunteering to tow one of our coach boats to the J.O.s! We still need parents to tow two more boats. We will not be able to coach at the regatta without our boats.

The Opti trailer is parked outside the gate of the sailing center. We will be putting the rack on the truck tomorrow. I may have told some of you that it was first come first serve but I have decided to go back to assigning spots on the trailer so there are no conflicts. Assignments will be posted on trailer so please load your boat after practice.

We hope to see everyone at the Winter Sailing Banquet!
